Emerson’s first experience performing in an open mic event, organised by Kakiseni at Quill City Mall, KL on 17 September in conjunction with #RasaSayang Merdeka Celebration event. He sang 2 songs - 'Demons' and 'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons. After singing a few lines, he forgot the words and restarted the song. The public was supportive, joined him in the song and cheered him on. He enjoyed performing during this event, and it was a good experience for him.
