Emerson played 2 songs on the guitar and told jokes at an Arts Fest. He entertained the appreciative crowd of over a hundred children and adults in the hall. This was his first time ever doing stand-up comedy and he enjoyed doing it. He said that wants to be a comedian. He also bought a hand-puppet and is learning ventriloquism via youtube.
When he first suggested that he wanted to tell jokes as his performance, we were wondering if he could pull it off, as we didn't know the level of the audience in the group and one needs to have a good understanding of the English language in order to understand the jokes. Hence, he selected some simple joke riddles so that younger children could understand it. He did his own research and came out with several jokes, which he brilliantly pulled off.
